Q. How can I find an empirical research article for my psychology class?

Your best bet is to use one of our psychology databases and limit by methodology. Try this:

1. First, visit either PsycARTICLES or PsycINFO. 
2. Put in your keyword terms in the search boxes as you would normally search.
3. Before you click "Search," scroll down to the bottom of the page and under "Limit your results" you will see a "Methodology" section. 
4. Under "Methodology," select "EMPIRICAL STUDY."
5. Click "Search."

Now all of the articles you're searching for are going to be empirical studies!
