Yes, you can access the New York Times online through the library!

Browsing the NYT

The database Global Newsstream has online issues of the New York Times available as far back as 1980. After clicking on the link, you will be taken to the latest issue of the NY Times with each article in that issue displaying towards the bottom of the page. Under "Choose an issue to view," you can select a specific date and then click "View Issue" to see all of the articles published on that date.

Searching Within the NYT

You can also do a keyword search for all the the New York Times (1980 to present) by putting in your keywords in the search bar that says "Search within this publication..."
