EOPS (Extended Opportunity Programs & Services) provides book grants for eligible students to be used in the ELAC Bookstore. The ELAC Library does not provide or accept book grant waivers.

An EOPS book grant will pay for your textbooks, as well as qualify you for other services including:

  • Personalized Counseling and Transfer Assistance
  • Priority Registration
  • Financial Aid Assistance
  • Tutoring/Individualized Instruction

To qualify for the program, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a California resident for one year and one day or AB540
  • Be 18 years old or a high school graduate
  • Full-time student (12 or more units)
  • Received a Board of Governors Grant Fee Waiver (BOGG A or B)
  • Have completed fewer than 70 degree applicable units of credit coursework in any combination of post-secondary higher education institutions
  • Have completed the A-O-C Process
